Product guide
TeSys D is a well known contactor range from Schneider Electric. You will find it in panels in many factories and workshops. The standard LC1D contactor switches a three phase motor on and off. The LC2D is a reversing contactor, which lets a motor run forward and in reverse. Many buyers search by the product code, so it helps to know how to read it. In LC1D12P7, the number 12 is the current rating, and the last letters give the coil voltage. For example, P7 means 230V AC, and N7 means 415V AC. A wrong coil letter means the contactor will not work properly, so always check it. The range has many ratings and extra parts, including auxiliary contact blocks, mechanical interlocks and suppressors. These contactors are used in pumps, fans, compressors and cranes.
Q1: Is TeSys D the same as TeSys Deca?

Q2: What does the last part of the code mean?

Q3: What is LC2D?

Q4: Can I change the coil later?
