Product guide
The Acti9 iID is a series of residual current circuit breakers, also called RCCBs or RCDs. An RCCB watches the current going in and out of a circuit. If some current leaks to earth, it switches off fast. This protects people from electric shock and helps prevent fires caused by earth faults. The series comes in 2 pole and 4 pole versions for single phase and three phase boards. Sensitivity options include 30mA for people protection, and 100mA, 300mA and 500mA for equipment and fire protection. An RCCB does not protect against overload or short circuit, so you must fit an MCB or fuse in front of it. The iID works with Acti9 accessories such as auxiliary contacts and shunt trips.

Q2: Which sensitivity should I choose for people protection?

Q3: What is the difference between 2P and 4P?
2P is for single phase. 4P is for three phase with neutral.
Q4: Why must I press the test button?
It checks that the trip function still works.
