Product guide
TeSys accessories are the add-on parts that turn a basic contactor into a complete motor starter. They fit TeSys Deca LC1D contactors, CAD control relays and LRD overload relays. Auxiliary contact blocks give you extra normally open or normally closed contacts for signals and interlocks. Suppressor modules protect your control circuit from the voltage spikes that a coil produces when it switches off. Mechanical interlocks stop two contactors from closing at the same time, which is needed for reversing starters. Replacement coils let you change the coil voltage or fix a burnt coil without buying a new contactor. A terminal block such as the LAD7B105 lets you mount an overload relay away from the contactor. Using the right accessory saves time on site and keeps the panel safe.
Q1: Which contactors do the contact blocks fit?
TeSys Deca LC1D09 to LC1D150 contactors and CAD control relays, depending on the block.
Q2: Why do I need a suppressor module?
A coil can send voltage spikes back into the control circuit when it switches off. A suppressor reduces them.
Q3: What does a mechanical interlock do?
It stops two contactors from closing at the same time, for example forward and reverse contactors.
Q4: Can I change the coil voltage on a contactor?
Yes. Many sizes accept replacement coils in different voltages.
Q5: What is LAD7B105 used for?
It is a terminal block that lets you mount an LRD overload relay separately from the contactor.
Q6: Do accessories need extra wiring?
Contact blocks and suppressors clip on and use screw terminals. Check the product guide for the wiring.
