Product guide
Harmony limit switches detect the position of a moving part and send a signal to a control circuit. A machine part or a door touches the head of the switch, and the contacts change state. This lets a control system stop a motor at the end of travel, confirm that a guard is closed, or count objects on a line. The XCK range offers several head types. A roller lever is good for cams and sliding parts. A plunger is used for straight on contact. A rod head suits parts that approach from the side. Bodies come in plastic and metal, and many are sealed to resist dust, oil and water. Contacts are usually 1NO plus 1NC. The switches are built for long mechanical life, so they work for years on busy machines. They are common on conveyors, lifts, cranes, doors and machine tools.
