Product guide
An undervoltage release opens a circuit breaker when the voltage drops or is lost. Acti9 offers three types. The iMN opens the breaker when the supply drops and stops it from closing until the voltage returns. The iMNs is the instantaneous version, so it reacts without delay. The iMNx is different, because it works from a separate control circuit. It trips when that circuit is opened, and a drop in the main supply does not trip it. This makes it useful in emergency stop chains. These releases protect machines and people from sudden restarts after a power cut. Voltage versions include 48V AC, 220 to 240V AC and 380 to 415V AC. All are 18mm wide and clip on a DIN rail. Choose the voltage that matches your supply.
