Product guide
The SYNCO G2(A2) Mega builds on the standard G2(A2) system by adding 8GB of internal storage to each transmitter, so audio is always backed up directly on the microphone itself, separate from whatever the wireless signal sends to the camera or phone. This backup recording function is genuinely useful if the wireless connection drops out or picks up interference during a shoot, since the full audio is still safely stored and can be pulled off later through the transmitter's Type-C port. Each transmitter's 8GB of storage holds around 24 hours of audio in total, recorded using 24-bit float, which allows audio that came out too loud or too quiet to be corrected during editing without harsh distortion. A charging case is included, extending the system's total working time to a full 24 hours between deeper recharges.
