Acti9 Auxiliary Contact iOF A9A26904 - Schneider Electric
The Schneider Electric Acti9 A9A26904 is an iOF auxiliary contact that tells you whether a circuit breaker is open or closed. It has one changeover contact, so you can send a signal to a panel light, a PLC input or a control circuit. The contact works from 100mA to 6A and handles 24 to 415V AC and 24 to 130V DC, which covers most low voltage control circuits. It clips onto the left side of the protection device on a DIN rail. It is only 9mm wide, so it adds very little space to the row. The A9A26904 fits Acti9 iC60, iC60 RCBO, iID, iDPN Vigi, iC40 and iSW-NA devices, and it works with the comb busbar on top. Wires go into screw terminals at the bottom, and it takes cables up to 4mm². The contact is rated IP20 and works in temperatures from minus 35 to 70 degrees Celsius. It meets IEC 60947-5-1 and carries CE and UKCA marks.
What the A9A26904 Does
- Shows whether the device next to it is open or closed
- Gives you an electrical signal you can send to a panel light, PLC or alarm circuit
- Has one changeover (C/O) contact, which means one set of contacts that can work as normally open or normally closed
- Fits on the side of the breaker, so no extra wiring box is needed

Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: What does 1 C/O mean?
It means one changeover contact. One set of contacts can be used as either normally open or normally closed in your circuit.
Q2: What is the difference between iOF and iSD?
The iOF contact shows whether the device is open or closed. The iSD contact is used to signal that the device has tripped because of a fault.
Q3: Which devices does the A9A26904 fit?
It fits single terminal Acti9 iC60, iC60 RCBO, iID, iDPN Vigi, iC40 and iSW-NA devices, and it clips onto the left side.
Q4: Can I use it on DC circuits?
Yes. It works from 24 to 130V DC, but the allowed current gets lower as the DC voltage goes up.
