The RODE Wireless GO III is the third version of RODE's most popular wireless mic. It has two clip-on transmitters and one receiver, built for two-person interviews, vlogs and podcasts. Each transmitter has a better built-in mic and a locking 3.5mm input for an extra lav mic if you need one. RODE's Series IV 2.4GHz signal gives a strong 260 metre range with 128-bit encryption, so the sound stays clear even in busy places with lots of other wireless devices around. Each transmitter also stores 32GB of audio on its own, enough for 40 hours of backup recording in 32-bit float. This means loud or quiet parts of your audio can still be fixed later without sounding broken.

Q1: What does 32-bit float recording actually do?
It gives extra room in the recording, so if the audio is too loud or too quiet, you can often fix it later without it sounding broken or distorted.
Q2: Can I use a single transmitter?
Yes, if there is only one speaker, you can record with just one transmitter and add the second one later.
Q3: Is it possible to connect this to a phone?
Yes the receiver connects to phones via USB-C output as well as the regular 3.5mm output for cameras.
Q4: How long does the battery last for?
Each unit lasts up to 7 hours on a full charge and the included charging hub means you can top up everything at once.
