The receiver is the exact same dual channel unit used in the full Wireless GO II set, so a second transmitter can be added later without buying a whole new system. It uses RODE's Series IV 2.4GHz signal with 128-bit encryption, giving a strong 200 metre range and staying stable even in busy wireless areas. The transmitter also has its own onboard memory, storing over 40 hours of backup audio in case the wireless signal ever has trouble.
