Schneider Electric Acti9 iSD Auxiliary Contact A9A26907
The Schneider Electric Acti9 A9A26907 is an iSD auxiliary contact. It is also called a fault contact. Its job is to tell you when the circuit breaker next to it has tripped because of a fault. It does not react when someone switches the breaker off by hand, so the signal always points to a real problem. The contact has one changeover output, which you can wire to an alarm, a panel light or a PLC input. It works from 100mA to 6A at 24 to 415V AC and 24 to 130V DC, so it suits most low voltage control circuits. The body is only 9mm wide and clips onto the left side of the breaker. A small mechanical indicator on the front shows its state. Screw terminals at the bottom make wiring simple and clean. This is a reliable choice for distribution boards where staff need a quick fault alert.
Features of Auxiliary Contact A9A26907
- Fault signal only: it reports a trip caused by a fault, not a manual switch-off
- 1 C/O contact: one changeover output that can work as normally open or normally closed
- Wide range: works on both AC and DC control circuits from 100mA to 6A
- Slim 9mm body that saves space on the DIN rail
- Mechanical indicator on the front for a quick visual check

Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: What does the iSD contact signal?
It signals that the device has tripped because of a fault.
Q2: Does it signal a manual switch off?
No. Use an iOF contact if you want to know whether the breaker is open or closed.
Q3: Can I use it on DC circuits?
Yes. It works from 24 to 130V DC, but the allowed current drops as the voltage goes up.
