The Nikon SB-5000 AF Speedlight is a high end flash designed for professional photographers who need to take hundreds of pictures during a wedding or other assignments. A flash this powerful usually requires some kind of cooling but Nikon has developed a revolutionary internal cooling system for the SB-5000 making it the first shoe mount flash that can fire more than 100 shots at full power before needing to cool down. The Nikon SB-5000 has an impressive guide number of 113 feet at ISO 100. It can be used as a remote flash with a radio control all the way up to 98 feet even with obstacles blocking the line of sight between the camera and flash. The flash head can swivel and tilt to bounce light off of surfaces and it works with Nikon's i-TTL auto exposure system allowing the flash to automatically control how much light is output. The Nikon SB-5000 AF Speedlight uses 4 AA batteries and recycles in under 3 seconds between shots.
