Product guide
The Fire Hose Reel is a wall mounted, first aid fire fighting equipment which has a 15 metre (approximately 49.21 ft) long, continuous piece of rubber or PVC hose attached to its own dedicated water source. It can be found in many different types of buildings including; commercial buildings, industrial facilities, offices, schools, warehouses and residential developments to assist in the control of class "A" fires in their earliest stages. Class "A" fires include common combustibles like wood, paper and textiles.
The 15M Fire Hose Reel enables individuals with proper training to stretch the hose toward a fire within the effective range of the reel and then apply water directly to the affected region. As such, it will help initiate an early response and could potentially stop the spread of the fire. To ensure that the fire hose reel is always available and functional when required, it must be properly installed, have sufficient water pressure, and be inspected regularly.

Hose length and size: Includes a 15-meter semi-rigid or reinforced hose (usually available in two different internal diameters – 19mm / 3/4” and 25mm / 1”) wound on a circular storage drum.
Hose Material: The hose is made from multiple layers of synthetic rubber and has textile reinforcements, or is manufactured using durable polyurethane/TPU materials. Both types of materials provide the hose with the ability to withstand high pressure and prevent kinking.
Discharge Nozzle: A rigid plastic or brass fast opening nozzle is provided with an adjustment to switch from the closed position to the spray position to the jet/conical spray position. The spray angle of this nozzle is typically greater than 45 degrees.
Working Pressure: Its working pressure is approximately 12 bar (174 psi) but may be higher depending on the specific application's requirements.
Design: Its design is capable of withstanding very high burst and proof pressure tolerances, such as a proof pressure of approximately 24 bar and a burst pressure of up to 42 bar.
Valve Control: The choice of control valve for your fire hose reel can be either manual (which will require you to turn off a gate/lever valve located on the wall/cabinet prior to using the hose reel) or automatic (the control valve on the inside of the reel will open automatically when you have turned the reel several times).
Mounting and Design: The mounting of the fire hose reel is accomplished with either a fixed wall mounting bracket or a rotating wall mounting bracket. The fire hose reel itself is contained within a powder coated fire red steel drum and cabinet, which may match other fire protection equipment such as IS: 5 Shade 536 or a red epoxy finish.
Compliance Standards: Designed to meet established safety standards, including BS EN 694 (for semi-rigid hoses), ISO, and/or local fire safety regulations.
