The CoreTECH 10kWh is the larger option in the CoreTECH lithium range, built for homes and businesses whose evening load is too big for a 5kWh battery. It uses LiFePO4 chemistry, the type of lithium battery chosen for safety and long service, and it offers 10kWh of storage, which is double the capacity of the 5kWh models. On paper that runs a 1kW load for about ten hours or a 2kW load for about five, so a family can keep fans, lights, a fridge, a TV and a pump going through most of the night. One large battery is also tidier than two small ones, with fewer cables and fewer connections to check. CoreTECH is a Karachi based solar brand, which can make support and spare parts easier to reach.
Add up the units you use between sunset and sunrise. If that number is below about 4kWh, a 5kWh battery is likely enough, though leave some spare. If it is between 5kWh and 9kWh, a 10kWh battery gives you headroom so that the battery is not drained to zero every night. Heavy loads such as air conditioners use a lot very quickly, so homes with two or more ACs will need to plan carefully. Your installer can read your electricity bills and appliance list and match the battery to your real use.
