Solis 15kW Three Phase On-Grid Inverter (4G Range Wi-Fi)

Solis 15kW on-grid inverter, also sold as the 3P15K-4G, is one of the most widely used three phase solutions in Pakistan for medium sized residential and small commercial setups. At 15kW it handles buildings that have outgrown a 10kW system, such as larger factories, schools, plazas and farms with heavy daytime loads. It belongs to Solis’s 4G three phase range, and it comes with Wi-Fi monitoring and an app for both iPhone and Android, so you can check production at any time. The series is listed with an IP65 enclosure, which makes outdoor mounting possible. It is grid-tied, which means no battery to buy, replace or maintain, and the savings start from the first sunny day. It is a good match for net metering projects, where extra generation is exported to the grid.

What Net Metering Needs From Your Inverter

Net metering lets you send extra solar power to the grid and receive credit for it. For that you need a grid-tied or hybrid inverter that meets the utility’s requirements, a bidirectional meter and approval from your distribution company. A grid-tied inverter is the common choice for net metering because it is simple and efficient. Check the latest requirements and the approved inverter lists with your utility before you buy, because they can change, and ask your installer to handle the paperwork.
