Product guide
The new full frame telephoto prime the worlds first autofocus 135mm lens that features a maximum aperture of F1.4. The large aperture and more or less telephoto focal length makes it ideal for portraiture, which allows for more extensive out-of-focus areas, than a F1.8 equivalent lens would be capable of. The optical construction of 17 elements in 13 groups, including four FLD and two aspherical elements is designed to minimize chromatic aberrations at wide apertures. Two HLA (High-response Linear Actuator) motors allow for quick and silent autofocus performance, while a floating focus system ensures maximum sharpness throughout the focusing range. The 13 blade rounded diaphragm helps to produce round, natural looking bokeh even near the edge of the frame.

Q1. Is this lens heavier than it looks?
Yes, the weight is a bit more (around 1420g) but the detachable tripod collar reduces the strain on the camera body.
Q2. Does this lens have a built-in stabilization or does it use the in-body stabilization?
It does not have a built-in stabilization as all the modern mirrorless cameras have a built-in stabilization system in the body.
Q3. How does the bokeh of this lens compare to the other 135mm f/1.8 lenses?
Since this one has an F1.4 aperture size, the out-of-focus areas will render more prominent in comparison to the similar lenses in the market.
Q4. Is the aperture on the lens suitable for video purposes?
Yes, it has a click and de-click option so that it does not make any noise when adjusting it during the recording.
