Product guide
This APS-C prime lens holds the widest angle of view among F1.4 autofocus lenses currently available for this format. Its 12mm focal length delivers an 18-19mm full frame equivalent view, suited to landscapes, architecture and night sky photography. The optical formula uses 14 elements in 12 groups, including 2 SLD and 3 aspherical elements, designed to control sagittal coma flare for cleaner star point rendering. A stepping motor autofocus system keeps focusing fast with minimized focus breathing for video use. At just 250g, it remains the lightest lens in Sigma's DC Contemporary prime lineup.
