• PCI Express Interface: The Intel Core i9 12900K fully natively supports PCIe Gen 5.0. This lines up perfectly with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, which runs on a PCIe 5.0 x16 bus. It will extract maximum bandwidth from the GPU without any slot throttling.

• Motherboard Form Factor: The i9 12900K requires an LGA 1700 socket motherboard (Z690 or Z790 chipsets). These boards all feature a standard physical PCIe x16 slot that fits the RTX 5070 Ti seamlessly.
