The Audio-Technica AT2020USB-X is a side address cardioid condenser microphone built with a USB-C digital output for direct computer connection. The cardioid polar pattern captures sound from the front while reducing noise from the sides and rear and uses a fixed charge back plate condenser element. With a frequency response from 20Hz to 20,000Hz, you'll get a smooth, natural sound across the whole vocal range. Analog to digital converter with sample rates up to 96kHz and 16- and 24-bit depth delivering clean detailed audio. The microphone includes a built-in 3.5mm headphone jack with its own level control, allowing zero latency monitoring straight from the mic. The unit weighs about 373 grams and measures 142mm long with a 52mm body diameter. It comes with a custom desk stand, a USB-C to USB-A cable with adapter, and a 3/8 to 5/8 inch threaded adapter for standard mic stands. It works with Windows 8.1 and above, and macOS Catalina and above, needing no drivers or extra software to start recording.
