Product guide
This is a 5KG dry powder fire extinguisher refilling service. The service allows you to have an existing 5KG fire extinguisher refilled rather than buying a brand new one. It is designed to allow customers to have their fire extinguishers serviced after they have been used, or as recommended by the manufacturer. You can find a 5KG fire extinguisher in shops, offices, commercial spaces, etc., that require fire safety equipment. This listing is for the refilling service only - there are no additional products included with this purchase (i.e. no additional extinguishers, no loose fire extinguisher powder).
Contact Sensato Trade prior to placing an order to verify that your extinguisher is eligible for service and to determine how to send it in for refilling.
The service will be performed on a 5KG dry powder fire extinguisher that is compatible with the equipment being used. You should check the fire extinguisher prior to filling to determine if it requires any repairs or replacement components. There could be additional charges associated with repairing the fire extinguisher if it requires repairs or replacement components.
A 5 kg dry powder fire extinguisher refill may be required following the use of the extinguisher, if there is a drop in pressure, or if a service recommendation is made during an inspection. Checking your fire protection equipment on a regular basis will allow you to determine if it is ready for service at all times.
What does the 5KG fire extinguisher refill service include?
The service provided will refill an already-existing and compatible 5kg dry powder fire extinguisher. The extinguisher being serviced must have been manufactured so that it can be repaired/serviced.
Will I receive a new 5KG extinguisher?
No, this listing is to refill an already existing fire extinguisher; you are not purchasing a new one.
Is this product loose dry powder?
No, this is a 5 kg fire extinguisher refill service, not the sale of bulk dry chemical extinguishing agent by weight.
When should a 5KG extinguisher be refilled?
Refill can be done as needed, after each application, at the point of low pressure or based on a recommendation from an inspection.
What if my extinguisher needs repairs?
First, check the condition of the unit. There could be additional costs associated with repairs and/or replacement parts, therefore, please verify all of the services provided by Sensato Trade prior to continuing.
